The important lessons during pandemic

I have learned the most important lessons during the pandemic. Hence, this Covid-19 pandemic has taught me a lot. It has given me so much time not only for my family but also for myself. I have reflected more on my life. Therefore, I have evaluated myself more based on the decisions I have made. Discovery about myself has also been a constant activity.

Important Lessons I've Learned During The Pandemic

Lessons Learned

First, with everything that is going on around us, I have learned that it is important to be safe than to be sorry. A number of my relatives are in the medical field and are considered the front liners. They constantly remind us to practice proper hygiene especially, the washing of hands. A few of our acquaintances have already contracted Covid-19. Some have survived, however, some have succumbed to it. During this pandemic, I have learned that it is of utmost importance to be safe than to be sorry because this is the only thing we can control.

Important Lessons I've Learned During The Pandemic

Kindness & gratitude

Working from home even before the pandemic has taught me to appreciate all the blessings and blessings in disguise that led me to this path. It is such a huge opportunity to be working from home even before the pandemic. When the pandemic started, there was really no major change in my life in terms of security at work, bringing home the bacon, and staying home.

Going the extra mile

It has always been my practice to give my best in everything. I do and extend an extra mile, especially when dealing with others. This pandemic has shown me that I was on the right path. Even if others end up abusing you, your heart and your conscience are clear. You just really wanted to help. I am fortunate enough to have clients who genuinely care for my well-being and are very understanding. Especially that I am a mother who works from home and at the same time a stay-at-home too. Consequently, I make sure that I also deliver, meet deadlines, and provide output over and beyond their expectations. Unfortunately, I have had a share of not-so-nice clients but they have helped bring me to where I am today. In the end, I am still truly grateful. Still, it is one of the most important lessons I have learned during this pandemic.

Do not delay giving joy

Also, I have learned to not delay giving joy to others. If you are in a position to make another person happier, do it straight away. Be generous. As an old saying goes; “It is better to give than receive.” It is important for me to emphasize this because, with the pandemic, we are always unsure of the future. If you plan to gift someone but still waiting for a special occasion to do so, don’t. Give it right away as we are not sure if we’ll still be able to wake up tomorrow. Worse, if that person will still see the light of day. Leave no room for regrets. As Maya Angelou said, “When you learn, teach. When you get, give.”

Do not be afraid to express your love

Let the people you love know that you love them. Be generous of your time by sharing what you have learned. Also, be generous with the kind words coming out of your mouth. Try, as much as you can, to always be kind. Because we do not know what other people are going through. Each of us is fighting different battles and we will never know how a person is coping. Hence, it is very important to be kind.

"My favorite things in life don't cost any money."

This pandemic has reiterated to me that the best things in life are indeed free. As Steve Jobs said: “My favorite things in life don’t cost any money.”  I can relate to this totally and I think is very self-explanatory. My kids are very important to me, apart from the other members of my family. I always want to be able to be the best version of myself because of them. And I always am grateful to God for giving them to me.

Not everyone is the same

The next most important lesson I have learned during this pandemic is that not everyone has the same heart as yours. Hence, we must always try to always guard our hearts. Even if we try our best to be kind to others, others are not required to be kind to us. While we strive to not be a nuisance to them, we cannot expect them to be the same to us.

Respect is essential

However, we must not let other people disrespect us at all. We have to take control of our lives and never be okay with others disrespecting us. Whether they are family, friends, or strangers. We must learn when to walk out of a relationship when respect isn’t on the table anymore. One of the most difficult things to learn is when to stay or when to let go. It is the same for all kinds of relationships.  Whether in business, romantic love, or family love.

Self-love and peace of mind

I am reminded that it is very important to choose self-love and peace of mind. No one has the right to belittle you or your dreams, especially if they are not in line with theirs. As I have mentioned earlier, always strive to be kind but never let anyone disrespect you. Be strong and learn to walk away.

I have learned a lot about myself and life purpose. And now I want to share with you this important Lessons I've Learned During This Pandemic.

Almighty God

Last but definitely not least, this pandemic has reminded me repeatedly that there is a God. There is someone more powerful than anyone else. And we should be able to surrender everything to Him as He is the Almighty God. According to Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” The Lord God knows what we need even before we ask for it.

Life in the new normal

These are the most important lessons I’ve learned during this pandemic. We need not worry about anything. Yes, we continue with our lives in the new normal, but we must always remember that we have a God who loves us and takes care of us. We must put our trust in Him always.

I have learned a lot about myself and life purpose. And now I want to share with you this important Lessons I've Learned During This Pandemic.
