There are a number of things you learn from writing your first blog. The hardest and loneliest part of writing your first ever blog is the beginning. You will have to decide if you can soldier on.

Essential Things

These are just a few essential things that you have considered before writing your first blog. I have learned to soldier on. If I do not start now, then when? I chose to drop all my inhibitions and decided to embrace the moment. Start now – even if you think you are not yet ready. You can always improve in the future. What is important is you start. You will reap the benefits soon.

What you need the most to write your first blog post

One of the things you learn from writing your first blog is that when writing, you need to be really interested in it. This is what you need the most. Do not be disheartened when nobody reads your work. Be interested enough to standby it. When nobody sees the value of your work, you have to be interested in writing to continue doing so. After you have written your first blog, you will find it within yourself that the second blog is easier, smoother, and more in tune with your feelings. You have to remind yourself that even if no one reads your first, you have to stand by your decision and continue writing. You have to soldier on.

Things You Learn When Writing Your First Blog In this article, you will have a glimpse of how it is to write your first blog.

Find your purpose

When you are strong enough to soldier on, that is more than enough reason to pat yourself on the back. You can even have pizza to celebrate this win. Find your niche. Once you have your niche, you keep practicing by writing and reading much stuff about it. Find your purpose. In finding your purpose, you would have to be ready to accept feedback. Always remember to take them all constructively. In my previous blog, I’ve talked about responding to mean-spirited criticisms with grace. This article can be used as a guide on how we react to feedback or criticisms, especially when they are not nice. Be humble and always choose to be kind. It never goes out of style.

Unexpected Realizations in Your First Blog

Don’t be afraid to tackle SEO. Find your purpose or niche; when you can start, decide that you are interested enough to soldier on. If you want people to read what you write, then learn SEO. Study the behavior of your target audience and eventually become successful in your chosen niche. It is also about taking risks. Take calculated risks as much as possible because it could be expensive. Start within yourself. Are you interested enough to go through all these? It will not be easy, and the road will be full of humps and puddles, but it is automatic for you to soldier on when you are interested enough. I would not be able to learn these things had I not written my first blog.

Lessons

I learned these lessons when I started writing my very first blog. I’m still learning with all these and getting excited about the next one. However, had I not started a few months ago, I would always wonder about my writing capabilities. Now I’m confident about it. I know I’m capable and proud of myself for having started. Make sure to keep moving forward, and after every single article, I celebrate with grace. Invest in me and ensure that I do not stop learning. I’m a stay-at-home mom of two, and I do not have any help in the house. So, If I can do it, I’m pretty sure you can do so too!
