I don’t know exactly how it started, but I have this silly rule in my mind that is not supposed to wear a white maxi in fall and winter. However, if it is a rule, it’s about to be broke, because I love to break the rules. Therefore, I’ll show in this blog post how to wear a white maxi skirt in fall and winter.
Moreover, I heard about this old rule a long time ago, when I moved to the USA. In contrast, I came from a place where there weren’t any season white dressing rules. In other words, in North Brazil – Amazon – where I used to live before. It is summer the whole year long. As a result, no worries about wearing white so ever.
I love wearing white, and I think my skin ton is in favor of that. As a matter of fact, I have many white outfits that on every fall, get packed in containers going to the attic, like bears getting in their caves to hibernating. Case over!
From now on, all my white maxi skirts, maxi dresses, and so, all my white outfits won’t be packed on any season anymore, no more hibernation for my favorites whites.
How to wear white in fall and winter
With that being the case, let me show you how to wear a white skirt in winter and fall. To start with, nothing better than this maxi skirt that I got at the end of summer on one of those Anthropologie sale events.
The list of things that I like on this skirt is endless, the lace fabric, the length, plus the embroidered details – no way, I’m waiting until winter is over to wear it. Not to mention that I had a lot of fun putting this outfit together.
It’s fun and bold
Not only I had fun playing a match but also been bold as well. Above all, I love the results. The animal print top paired perfectly with the white skirt. The Vidart and Life jewelry fell perfect, warming up the look.
And, the red boots completed it with a pop of color, making the outfit more bold and stylish. Most importantly, the over the knee boots kept my legs warm. For sure, this outfit won’t be worn just once.
